On-Site & Off-Site Data Destruction

There are many ways to destroy a piece of equipment that holds data. We offer every single type of service available whether its On-Site Data Destruction, On-Site Hard Drive Destruction, Off-site Data Destruction or Off-Site Hard Drive Destruction. We are able to add our degaussing and punching equipment on the same truck that handles the actual pick up for you other electronics, junk, or paper needs. This in turn saves you money and helps reduce the carbon footprint by using 1 company for all of your needs.

Our punching service is a lower cost alternative to Degaussing and Shredding. This is a unique service that puts a hole through the equipment which renders it useless. Once a drive is punched it must be dismantled and sent to a refinery for precious metal recovery. This is a very popular option if you want to see the destruction but are limited on funds.

The hard drives / media are destroyed in a manner set by the Dept of Defense method DOD 5220.22-M standard as well as the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Guidelines for Media Sanitization - as specified in Special Publication 800-88 and NAID (National Association for Information Destruction), standards for data destruction.* AVA has up to date wiping software that effectively over writes stored data. LEED BUILDING POINTS: All non-residential clients will receive a certificate of proper recycling, service and data destruction. If a customer needs more information on the certificate additional a la carte services are provided. We issue certificates after a pick up is complete and has the client information as well as the scope of work our company does when it comes to recycling. If you are part of our Property Manager box program, then you will receive a special certificate that has the carbon emissions saved on it. This unique certificate helps you achieve greater LEED value for your tenants.
